Mandatory Job Walk Information |
The mandatory job walk will start promptly at the designated time. Bidders shall allow ample time to locate the facility, park and sign-in.
Please refer to Section 3.17.2 of the attached bid document, Personal Protective Equipment, for items required to be worn on the plant premises and OCSD job sites. Any person not properly attired will not be allowed to attend the job walk.

OCSD Job Walk Safety Requirements must be adhered to. Failure to comply with the following, will result in the Job Walk Attendee not being able to participate in the job walk event.
Job Walk attendees are required to wear closed toe shoes, long pants, no sleeveless shirts, safety glasses (may be prescription with side shields if in process areas), reflective safety vests and hard hats. Only those possessing such attire will be allowed on the job site. OCSD will not provide personal protective equipment to attendees.

The work involves the rehabilitation of the steel mechanisms inside eleven (11) primary clarifiers at Plant 2. Multiple steel members at various locations at each clarifier have achieved different states of failure due to corrosion and as such, will require cutting, removal, coating, and replacement. All Work inside the clarifiers will be done under confined space work requirements.
