The Stanislaus County Alliance Worknet is seeking a qualified organization(s) to deliver a “Layoff Aversion Program” to reduce the incidence of layoffs, business downturns and closures resulting in job loss, particularly among the county’s small to midsized employers. This RFP seeks to establish a program that can provide comprehensive business services to augment existing local economic development efforts related to layoff aversion and business enhancement services. Alliance Worknet and the Stanislaus Economic Development & Workforce Alliance Board of Directors bring together a variety of private employer, labor, education, employment and training and social service agency partners to support job creation and income growth for workers through a variety of programs and services. Services to employers and job seekers are coordinated through the three (3) Career Resource Centers and one (1) Business Resource Center.
